I think it is fair to say that demagogy as promoted by certain circles in the USA does not differ much from blunt racism , more or like the same way people were afraid of giving African Americans positions of public interests , the conclusion is that this was overpassed by the election of Mr. Obama , but western oriented racism of who is irish or german and so on is a taboo well provided in an ever evolving and interbreeding society as the North American one is with values as brought from the old world still prevailing..
Is it a sin to like Irish Whiskey instead of the Tenessee one or no tapioka thank you?

Some people choose still the old ways aka tradition others do not...
