Supporting Ukraine is putting whatever toys we have to the real field.

 It is more like win win.

Ukraine WILL have a defense industry of their own after this should they want to survive and keep doing that.

Ukraine will have export abilities and even export joint mostly Euro Ukrainian projects i believe.

Ukraine can be a real pain in the ass only 800 km from Moscow.

This is not so much concurrently about Russian Imperial Ambitions they just don't want to be like Mr. Al Assad in Damascus having Israeli Long Range Artillery bombing his house or city while he is sleeping on his nice bed...Calmly.
No guilt...Not whatsoever.
