Fury 2014 could become a franchise in its own right re telling the stories from africa all the way to germany as a peak.

Much more intense and deeper than greyhound 2019 with Mr. Tom Hunks or U-571 2000.

It even becomes in a certain way related to Crimson Tide , 2 Characters non compatible one to the other yet despite they are on the verge of taking each other out in the name of the same cause they manage to co exist almost by a miracle avoiding nuclear holocaust , 

Fury 2014 in that sense examines standard macho military attitude , how them while supreme approach a female like Emma , knighthood as imposed by Mr. Pitt despite hardships , I think Fury 2014 is closer to Crimson Tide so , it could be a future mecha unit on some distant rebel planet or the other way around , Martian Humans getting involved in mother Earth's inferno and Britain becomes the Moon , a place to safely launch since it was not taken by nazi earth when they should have...

Blood lust highly resembles Spectral 2016 , U 571 and Crimson Tide and GreyHound 2019 but even though militarily i am not of this verse seems highly accurate yet dramatic by necessity.

Mr. Pitt in that sense , i think depicts WWII American Common Folk Mil Mentality just before drugs and rock n roll take over the Army by Storm , somewhere in Vietnam , and some liberals manage to destroy a campaign which after Tet should this liberal America not falling for it , maybe many in IndoChina would be speaking english sooner than this later yet as free people , in relation to also concurrent geopolitics as usual.
